Netflix’s animation partnership with DreamWorks has yielded significant returns thus far; not just for Guillermo del Toro’s Trollhunters, but also Voltron: Legendary Defender. That formation is getting even stronger, as reports indicate Season 3 is a go for fall 2017, with potentially many more episodes to come.

Den of Geek reports that ToyFair merchandise indicates a Voltron: Legendary Defender Season 3 renewal, potentially airing as early as September of this year. The second season only debuted a few weeks ago on January 20, though the long lead of animation times generally guarantees these plans are made well in advance.

The report also suggests that Netflix and Dreamworks are committed to a grand total of 78 episodes overall; roughly six seasons. We’ve reached out to Netflix for clarification, and will update when it arrives.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Voltron: Legendary Defender re-imagines the classic animated property, and features among its cast Jeremy Shada (Adventure Time) as Lance, Bex Taylor-Klaus (Scream) as Pidge, Josh Keaton (Green Lantern: The Animated Series) as Shiro, Tyler Labine (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil) as Hunk, Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) as Keith, Kimberly Brooks (Mass Effect) as Princess Allura and Rhys Darby (A Series of Unfortunate Events) as Coran
