A couple of weeks ago, we told you about the SFA Gardens plan to have their first in-person plant sale since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you don't remember, you can view the original article by clicking the link below:

Well, the SFA Gardens Fall Plant Sale itself officially kicked off yesterday. And, it looks like it got off to a pretty good start. This was the post from the SFA Gardens Facebook page yesterday about the sale:

Thank you for supporting the garden! The Dawn and Jordan University-approved covid-safe strategy to have a plant sale...

From those pictures, it looks like the sale is off to a pretty good start, even though it's way different from the way that the sales have been run in the past. And, as you can see, there are still reservation spots available.

If you're concerned about COVID-19, social-distancing, etc., they are following all the guidelines to make sure that the shoppers stay safe. Reservations are required, and they are for two-hour slots. Only six people are allowed in the sales area at a time. Masks must be worn in the facilities. And, they are asking people to stay away if they are running a fever, feel sick, or if they've been exposed to COVID-19.

More information about the plant sale, along with links for reservations, can be found at the SFA Gardens Facebook page.
