Stone Temple Pilots vs. Royal Blood – Cage Match

Stone Temple Pilots has returned to the music scene, sporting a new lead singer, Jeff Gutt. They've already earned their first Loudwire Cage Match victory with “Meadow,” which bested Foo Fighters’ “The Sky Is a Neighborhood” and will move on to face a new opponent this week.

Stepping into the Cage is Royal Blood, the U.K. duo who have made plenty of waves stateside in recent years. The band’s current single “I Only Lie When I Love You” has enjoyed a steady climb up the charts and like STP, has some catchy licks for fans to embrace.
