"Lonesome" Dave Peverett and Rod "The Bottle" Price may be gone, but Foghat's music lives on.  Listen to a track from their new album for free!

In 1975 fifth album Fool For The City became the band’s first to sell over a million copies in the America. The classic Slow Ride, a Top 20 single, was on this particular album.

Foghat’s biggest record was 1977’s Live, which sold over two million copies in the States. But they were a consistently big act over there, with seven of their releases selling half-a-million copies or more. Throughout, despite all their transatlantic success, the band remained no more than cult figures in the UK.

Peverett’s death from cancer in 2000 was a huge blow to the band, with Price passing away five years later from a heart attack. However, in recent years, the Guitar Hero game (as well as movies like Dazed & Confused) have given Foghat a major boost.

Now, the band – featuring Earl, guitarist/vocalist Charlie Huhn, guitarist Bryan Bassett and bassist Craig MacGregor – have just released Last Train Home.
