Hanging In There – As Of Now, Do Dat BBQ Is NOT Cancelled
In the midst of all the chaos that we're watching unfold day-by-day, it's nice to see that there are still some things haven't changed, been postponed or cancelled. Today, while scrolling through Facebook, I came across a post from Do Dat BBQ. If you're not familiar with Do Dat, it's the BBQ cookoff that's held at the Nacogdoches Expo Center. This year's cookoff is set for May 2nd. And you know what?
As of today, it's still scheduled to happen on May 2nd!
This was the post that I came across from the Do Dat BBQ Facebook page:
Could that date change? Yes, it could potentially change. However, it's a nice change of pace to see something that is still set to go off at the same time, without postponements or cancellations. Now, one thing that is changing is that entries for competition teams and vendors are being moved back to a later date that will be announced later. The event itself has not changed.
If it does happen to change, we'll be sure to keep you posted here. But right now, we're going to keep May 2, 2020 booked in our calendars for Do Dat BBQ 2020!
Are you competing in Do Dat this year? Or, are you going as a spectator? Let us know in the comment section below!
