Humane Society Hosts Yappy Hour

The Winnie Berry Humane Society of Angelina County are holding a fundraiser. Yappy Hour. A play on words for happy hour, it is essentially just that. The event is at the newly reopened Arthur's Greenside Tavern inside the Crown Colony Country Club Friday August 28th, 2020 from 4-8pm.

It's not too fancy for you, I know what you are thinking. This is an open event, you don't need a Country Club membership to participate. Twenty percent of the food and beverage sales will go to support the Winnie Berry Humane Society of Angelina County.

Winnie Berry is a no kill shelter. They want to stop the suffering and death of unwanted pets by preventing pet overpopulation. The HSAC offers affordable options for pet owners to reduce the costs of spay/neuter surgery. They serve Trinity, Polk, Houston, and Angelina Counties. If you spay and neuter you can avoid the unexpected cost of unwanted litters. Bonus, there will be fewer stray dogs and cats. Shelters could focus more resources on adoptions. There are thousands of animals out there that still need loving homes.
