At 4 am on April 11th, 2022 a white male wearing a "Come and Take it" t-shirt ironically stole a vehicle. He came and took a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt from the parking lot of La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Lufkin.
This car theft was a crime of opportunity. The man was seen wandering around the parking lot trying door handles.
Most thieves are lazy and are always looking for an easy score. After trying several vehicles, he happened upon the black sedan unlocked with the keys in the ignition. Then he started it right up and drove away.
