Nacogdoches Food Trucks Unite For Delicious Snackadoches Festival
Over the past few years, the food truck scene has grown tremendously, even in Nacogdoches. So much so, that there's even a food truck operated by SFA students - the Lumber Jack Express Mobile Food Lab. These food trucks - and trailers, for those of you that want to get technical - set up at locations all over town, rotating to different locations on different days.
Well, this weekend, lots of those food trucks are going to be located all in one central location for one big event - Snackadoches.
What is Snackadoches?
Snackadoches is an all-day food truck festival in downtown Nacogdoches hosted by Revolution Road Wood-Fired Pizza, Mad Hatter Distillery, Fredonia Brewery and Dilly Dally where people will have the chance to go through and get a taste of food from all of their favorite food trucks/trailers, and probably some that they haven't had the chance to sample before.

It all kicks off at 11:00 AM on the corner of Mound Street and Hospital Street in Nacogdoches, where the food trucks will be set up. According to the Facebook event page, the food trucks (and trailers) that are participating are Revolution Road, Homegrown Coffee Co., Waffles with a Twist, Smash and Pass, Lumberjack Express, and more. They'll be serving food until 9:00 that night, or until they're sold out.
It's Not JUST the Food Trucks
In addition to the food trucks, there will be local merchants set up selling their crafts, so attendees will have the chance to view and buy local crafts. The merchants will be set up from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM, or until sold out.

There will also be live music at both the Fredonia Brewery and Mad Hatter Distillery. Fredonia will have music at the brewery from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Mad Hatter will have music at the distillery from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
So, as you can see, Snackadoches will be a pretty busy day for downtown Nac, but it should be good!
